Grades

Your grade in this course is based on three assignments, a responsible robotics discussion, and a final project. All assignments and the project will be conducted in groups of three members each.

Academic Honesty

  • All work that you submit must entirely be your own team’s work.
  • You may discuss the algorithms for the homework with other teams, but all code and written solutions that you turn in must be your team’s alone.
  • If you referred to a resource to solve a problem, you must cite it in your writeup. Be careful when doing this: if a homework asked you to calculate X, and you cite a resource for how to do that, you will get 0 credit. If you use a resource without citing it, it will be penalized as academic dishonesty.

Use Of LLM / Generative AI assistants In Coursework

  • You are welcome to use online or offline AI assistants such as GitHub CoPilot, online LLMs, CodeLlama, or image generation tools for working on class programming assignments and the project, including the reports and videos.
  • You must disclose the use of such tools and their scope in your writeup - failure to do so will be treated as academic dishonesty. The disclosure must state:
    1. Which tool you used
    2. What inputs or prompts you gave to the tool
    3. Which parts of the assignment or project the outputs of the tool were used in
  • In addition to the above requirements, when using AI tools (or any other tools), please be cognizant of whether it is serving to aid in learning, or hindering learning, and use your own discretion.
